Christmas Photo Contest Winner & Daily Bread Donation

So the holidays are over and during the course of them we had a great Christmas photography contest in the spirit of giving. The theme was holidays so it could be any photo that fell into that category.  But what really set this contest apart from others was that for each photo submitted we donated a dollar to the Daily Bread Food Bank.  And boy did we have a huge out pouring of participants, with 180 photos submitted that amounts to $180 dollars donated.  But we felt it needed to be topped off a bit so we decided to make it an even $500.

Thanks to all our participants and to our WINNER Julie McQuinn.  Julie has been interested in photography since grade 4 and is currently residing in Illinois where she is looking into applying to art schools in sunny California. We wish you the best in all your endeavors Julie and we hope the extra $500 can pay for some art supplies. You can check out her blog to see more of her photography.  Here’s a peek at her winning photo.  If you’d like to check out the other entries you can go here – Christmas Photo Contest . Thanks to all the participants and have a great 2012!
