OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Fire Alarm Technician will install, repair and maintain our fire alarms throughout our Rook Hotel and other properties.

• Install, test, and repair fire alarm systems, including control panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, and other components.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with fire alarm systems, and perform necessary repairs.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure that fire alarm systems are installed and repaired by local and national codes and regulations.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, inspection reports, and parts used.
• Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Stay up-to-date on new developments in fire alarm technology and regulations, and incorporate this knowledge into job duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant technical training or certification in fire alarm installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Knowledge of local and national codes and regulations related to fire alarm systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
