This is a full-time hybrid position (work from home 2 days a week and join the other great A-players in the office 3 days a week). The selected candidate will also be joining and attending trade shows across North America so a valid passport is required and the willingness to travel. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be reporting to Adrian D’Atri, our Chief Technology Officer.
The mission of the Sales Development Representative is to grow our online network and be responsible for prospective outreach. The Sales Development Representative will be a key asset to the Bid-13 at an exceptionally high level allowing the company to grow and our revenue and profitability goals.
The most important responsibility of this position is to secure new clients by representing Bid-13 in online presentations, and trade show exhibits and building relationships with potential clients,.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR DAY
Identifying and securing potential clients by cold-calling, online presentations, and trade show exhibits.
Developing and maintaining documentation of sales records, sales meetings, sales calls, new sales, closed sales, follow-up activities, etc.
Providing excellent customer service by addressing and resolving customer inquiries/issues in a timely manner.
Developing best practices for online sales and customer services.
Presenting a written plan for onboarding self-storage operators and management companies to the executive team.
Developing written weekly sales goals based on the monthly goal.
Collaborating with the team on improving scripts and sales presentations.
Attending self-storage conventions and trade shows.
5 years’ business to business sales or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major.
The absolute drive to achieve and lead others to excel.
A friendly, outgoing personality with large group sales experience is an asset.
Experience in C Suite Presentation is an asset.
Immaculate written and spoken English.
A valid passport is required to attend trade shows in the United States.
